This forum has been a long time coming. I have always wanted to use every means available to share the wonderful kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, which includes writing to whomever could be reading. I intend to be concise and relevant, which is the challenge for someone like me who tends to use a lot of descriptors (flowery, Debbie says).
There are days of heaven to be lived on earth. The Lord Jesus said that He came for that reason in John 10:10b, I have come that they might have life [Greek: zoe, life as God has it/ the substance that makes God, God] and have it to the full. So He came. And now we are processing the having. And each time we do, life in this natural, cursed, fallen and challenged world is upgraded.
How can we possibly live on this planet like the saints in heaven already have it? Consider this:
Jesus is in heaven, but by Holy Spirit, He is here too. The devil is not in heaven, but James 4 says toresist the devil and he will flee from you on earth.
Heaven has no sin in it, but Romans 6:14 says, sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Heaven has no lack, shortage or need, but 2 Corinthians 8:9 affirms, for ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
Heaven has no sickness or pain, but 1 Peter 2:24 promises, Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
So, those living in heaven do so without expending faith to have a blessed life. The born-again sons and daughters of God still in this world will step out of this life someday into that heaven. But, God’s design and Jesus’ sacrifice for mankind has already granted a Garden of Eden potential to each one that can live by faith now. It is what the Lord Jesus prayed for us, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. They that live by faith will not be so amazed by the difference of a earth to heaven experience except that there is no resistance by the devil or the flesh to live in it. However, only living by faith has great rewards.
We should renew our minds to the truth in God’s Word. Heaven is our settled goal, but we certainly should run our race and finish our course today, and on the victory side. Live like Heaven’s on Earth!
